The year is still young, and so are you! February is the month to shake things up and get excited all over again. Whatever you do and wherever you do it, do it for YOU.
Take to the skies.
To really get that pulse racing, why not do something like fall out of an airplane? I mean, I would take a parachute and maybe some sort of professional skydiver to strap to your back, but it’s definitely still a good idea.
Back down to earth.
If you’d rather keep your feet on the ground and be looking up, why not find yourself a kite shop and learn to fly that way. Kites aren’t the old diamond drag-alongs they show in the movies; two-string trick kites can be a lot of fun and quite a challenge. Take to the skies at the beach or in your local veld.
Move to your own groove.
As you start to get into the rhythm of the year, find yourself a new beat to move to, with some dancing lessons. Maybe you want to get back to the ballet you did as a kid, or get to know the splendid salsa. Either way, it’s great fun getting into the groove.
Play it cool.
It’s never too late to learn to ice-skate. Sure, it’ll start with some slipping and sliding, but haven’t you always wanted to be one of those pros that glide effortlessly by the beginners as they flail about? Try it out, get yourself some skates, and take them for a spin.
Use your words.
If all of this is a little too active for your kind of activity, maybe have a look into some reading books. Rather than just keeping a paperback on your bedside table, take some time to go to a library or beautiful little coffee shop and take some time just for you.
Wherever it is you go and whatever it is you do for you, I have things I can do for you too. I’ll keep you covered on the car-front so you can focus on perfecting your new playtime activities. The Beame Protect Value Added Service portfolio has your back when it comes to fines, accidents, licence renewals and more. If you like the sound of that, then sign up for something new with me too, at www.beame.co.za.
