Beame Announces DSTV Competition Winner!

On the 1st of March 2013, MiX Telematics was dotty with excitement as the brand new VW Polo Vivo came rolling down Howick Close. This brand spanking new set of wheels was already simply sorted with a Beame and was going to one lucky gentleman, our first prize winner in the Beame and DSTV competition, Mr Sifiso E. Ntuli.

At 13:00 Mr and Mrs Ntuli were welcomed at the Midrand reception with banners, champagne and, of course, a shiny set of keys. Mr Ntuli admits that he initially thought the competition was to win a Beame tracking device, so the realisation that the prize also consisted of a vehicle was a little overwhelming and completely unexpected. We aim to impress Mr Ntuli and we fully understand that winning a Beame is fabulous enough, but we’re happy we could add a car to your pot of gold.

When the DSTV representative initially called Mr Ntuli with the good news on the 7th of February, he remembers thinking it was a hoax, as he’s not been fortunate enough to win anything before. He was elated to discover that the competition and prize was the real deal and one he could sign for on the dotted line. He adds, “I will be keeping the Polo Vivo forever as a reminder of this day”.

Mr Ntuli has been a MiX Telematics customer for some time already and he’s been watching MultiChoice since the MNet days, “It’s great that organisations like these reward support”, Ntuli remarks, his smile still brimming from ear to ear. Ever impressed with his new Beame tracking device, he comments that “It’s good to know systems like this work in our country”.
Following a very successful prize giving and the pleasure of Mr Ntuli’s company, it was time to head off to the farm in his “beautiful car”, today only a short journey planned but next week… the world!
